Who I am

The Creative Shak is a digital marketing business led by Alessia. I am responsible for the personal data collected through this website. For any privacy question, email info@thecreativeshak.co.uk.

What I collect

When you use the contact form, I collect your name, last name, email address, whether you are getting in touch as a client or vendor, your message and, if you choose to share them, your business or organisation name and website.

If you email, call or message me on WhatsApp, I receive the details you choose to share.

If you accept analytics cookies, the website uses Google Analytics and Hostinger’s built-in analytics, provided by Amplitude, to understand how visitors use it, for example which pages are visited, the type of device and approximate location. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time.

How I use your data

I use your details to reply to your enquiry, discuss your project, prepare a proposal and manage any work we agree. I use analytics data to understand how the website is used and to improve it. I do not sell your data, and I do not add you to a mailing list without your permission.

Legal basis

I process enquiry details because it is necessary to respond to your request and take steps before entering into a contract, or because I have a legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries. Analytics cookies rely on your consent where the law requires it.

Service providers

Some providers process data for me: Hostinger (website hosting and contact-form submissions), Google (Google Analytics), Amplitude (Hostinger’s website analytics), Calendly (if you book a call), WhatsApp (if you message me) and Common Ninja (the Google reviews widget). They process data under their own privacy terms, and some may transfer data outside the UK with appropriate safeguards.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiry details for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting work. I then delete them, unless I must keep them for legal, tax or accounting reasons.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw your consent at any time. To make a request, email info@thecreativeshak.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

I may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page.
