Channels, priorities and media planning
01 · Paid media
Paid media — reach the right people through online advertising
Advertising can put your business in front of people who are already looking for what you offer, or introduce it to new audiences. It is one option within a wider digital plan, not a requirement for every business.
Google Ads, paid social and affiliate marketing
When advertising fits your goals, I help you decide where to invest and how to get more from your campaigns and reach your target ROI. The right mix depends on your audience, your offer and how customers buy from you, so not every engagement covers every channel.
Example: read the case study on how this international organization improved its paid media ROI.
What I can help with
Account and campaigns audit. What is working, where budget is being wasted and what to change first.
Explore Google Ads & Meta audits
Channel and budget priorities. Where to invest across Google Ads, paid social and affiliate partnerships, based on your target ROI.
Audiences and targeting. Who to reach - find the right keywords, audiences and placements.
Campaign structure. Campaigns, ad groups and creative organised to increase your ROAS.
Tracking and reporting. Checking that conversions are measured correctly, so decisions rest on reliable data.
Ongoing optimisation. Regular recommendations on budgets, bids, ads and landing pages.
Deliverables are confirmed in each proposal. Hands-on implementation or ongoing account management depends on the agreed scope and availability.
02 · Organic optimisation
Organic optimisation — help people find and understand your business
Organic optimisation improves how people discover your business through search, and what they find when they arrive.
SEO and content strategy
I prioritise improvements to the relevance, structure and content of your website based on your business, your audience and the evidence available, so the effort goes where it is most likely to help people find and understand what you offer.
What I can help with
SEO review. Technical, structural and content issues that may be holding your website back.
Keyword and content strategy. The topics your customers search for, and the pages that should answer them.
On-page improvements. Page titles, headings, internal links and content.
Local SEO. Your Google Business Profile, local listings and reviews, where local visibility matters.
Content planning. A realistic plan for new and updated content.
Measuring results. Tracking visibility, traffic and enquiries from organic search.

03 · Performance marketing campaigns
Performance marketing campaigns that connect your channels to measurable results
Performance marketing ties every campaign to concrete, measurable results—such as product or service sales, customer acquisition, leads, sign-ups, and more.
Full-funnel campaigns tailored to your goals
A full-funnel strategy covers the entire customer journey; the objective goes beyond simply displaying an ad—it’s about driving the user to take a specific action (purchasing a product, requesting information, subscribing to a newsletter, downloading an app, etc.). I manage your account on a daily basis, testing and making adjustments based on the available data.
Example: read the nimbl case study for a children’s money card.
What I can help with
Campaign planning. Objective, audience, message, channels and the KPIs that show progress.
Buyer personas and insights. Who your customers are, what they need and what persuades them.
Full-funnel journeys. Activity for each stage, from first awareness to lead, sale or sign-up.
Measurement. Tracking and reporting that trace each result back to its source.
Account management. Running, testing and optimising campaigns day to day, with clear updates.
Performance review. What worked, what didn't and what to change next time.
The proposal sets out which tasks I own and which stay with you or your other suppliers.
04 · Digital marketing strategy
Digital marketing strategy — improve ROI and efficiency
When there are many possible channels and competing priorities, it can be hard to know where to focus. A plan that does not reflect your business goals can spread time and budget too thinly.
Data-driven strategy, marketing mix and media planning
I build data-driven strategies around your ROI, using sales, enquiries and cost data to prioritise channels and improve efficiency. I agree how success will be measured, linking marketing costs to business outcomes rather than judging performance by clicks alone.
What I can help with
Goals and evidence review. Your objectives, sales or enquiry data, analytics and past activity.
Channel mix. Which channels to use, and the role each one plays in reaching customers.
Budget allocation. How to share budget and effort between channels.
Media planning. Priorities, timing and channels for the months ahead.
Measurement. The KPIs and reports that show whether the plan is working.
A practical roadmap. A clear sequence of next steps your team can act on.
The specific outputs, and who carries out each part of the plan, are agreed in the proposal.
How your project takes shape
Step 01
Understand your business and goals
I start by learning about your business, your customers, what you have tried so far and where you want to grow.
Step 02
Agree priorities and responsibilities
Together we decide which channels and tasks matter most, and who is responsible for each part of the work.
Step 03
Confirm the proposal and next steps
You receive a proposal setting out the scope and next steps. I confirm fit and availability before any work is agreed.
Every business is different. An online shop and a service business, for example, often need different support, so each proposal is based on your objectives, what you already have in place and the work involved.
FAQ
Questions I’m often asked
How much does it cost?
Every project is quoted after we talk, based on what you need and the work involved. For local SEO and Google Business Profile support, the packages and prices are on the Local SEO & GBP page.
Will you run my ads, or advise my team?
Either, depending on the scope we agree. Some projects are an audit and a clear plan your team carries out; others include hands-on work or ongoing optimisation. The proposal says exactly what I will and won’t do.
How long until I see results?
It depends on the channel. Advertising can show early signals within weeks, while organic search usually takes several months. I don’t promise specific results, and we agree how success will be measured before any work starts.
What do you need from me to get started?
Your website address, your goals and what you have already tried. If we work on accounts such as Google Ads or analytics, I’ll ask for access when it’s needed. If you’re not sure where to start, describe the problem you want to solve.
How do I know which digital marketing service I need?
Start with the problem you want to solve. You might need more enquiries, better returns from advertising or a clearer plan for growth. I’ll help you work out what needs attention first, so you can choose support based on your business needs.
Should I increase my advertising budget or improve my existing campaigns?
Before spending more, check whether your current campaigns are bringing in valuable enquiries or sales. Poor results can come from targeting, messaging, landing pages or inaccurate tracking. Understanding the cause helps you decide whether to increase investment or improve what’s already running.
Should my business focus on SEO or paid advertising?
The right starting point depends on your goals, budget and how customers find you. Paid advertising can help you reach an audience sooner, while SEO builds visibility in unpaid search over time. I’ll help you assess where to focus and whether using both makes sense.
Can you review Google Ads or Meta campaigns managed by my agency?
Yes. An independent review can give you a second opinion without changing your agency or internal team. I assess the agreed accounts, explain the findings and prioritise improvements you can discuss with the people managing your campaigns.
How do I know whether my marketing is working?
Look beyond clicks and impressions to the enquiries, sales or other outcomes your business needs. Reliable tracking helps connect those results to your marketing activity and costs. The measures should reflect your goals—for example, the cost of a qualified enquiry, rather than simply the number of website visits.
Does my business need local SEO?
Local SEO is relevant if customers search for your services in a particular area, whether they visit your premises or you travel to them. It helps people discover your business through local search and Google Maps. If your customers aren’t tied to a location, other SEO priorities may be more useful.
